After 12 years our first and only Pastor has recently obeyed God's call to move back to his home town of Denver, Colorado to be near his aging parents. Heartland Covenant Church is trusting God to bring us our next Pastor.

Heartland is part of the Evangelical Covenant denomination. Established in 1996, we are located in the heart of Springfield, Missouri. Our present congregation numbers 125/150 and is represented by all age demographics . Families are very important and we are particularly focused on the 18-35 year old age group. We are excited about the special growth potential in college age and young families.

We believe that the Bible is the Holy, True and Inspired Word of God. We enjoy cutting edge Worship Music by the most talented musicians in Springfield. You will not find a more genuine Church Family than those at Heartland.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS:

Education/Training/Experience

• 4 year degree in Seminary or Bible College (advanced degree preferred)
• 3/5 years minimum Pastoral experience
• Strong communication skills
• Strong emphasis on Bible teaching with practical application to life
• able to utulize and work well in mult-media environment
