What an exciting time to be at Heartland Covenant Church! The Lord has blessed us with a great pastor and his family.

Pastor Vann Trapp has served in ministry for over 20 years and has been involved with the Evangelical Covenant Church for 10 years. Prior to Heartland, he served as Pastor for 7 years, with Summit, an Evangelical Covenant Church in Cary, North Carolina.

Vann's heart has always been drawn to minister to others. In high school realizing God's love for him, it became important for him to have others experience that same love. Whether through teaching, missions, music or just everyday conversations, Vann's purpose is to share God's heart, God's word and God's love.

Vann has ignited new excitement here at HCC with his visionary leadership, his organizational ideas, and as his enthusiasm for Word of God. Vann has a relaxed teaching style that is very relatable to everyone!

Vann and his wife Carrie, have three children, Michael, Rachel & Katie.
